1. Intensive Lesson Deposits & Payments
Non-Refundable Deposit – Once paid, the deposit for intensive lessons is non-refundable if you change your mind. This is because we must secure an instructor who will adjust their busy schedule, often cancelling other lessons to accommodate you.
Cancellation After Starting – If you cancel the intensive course after it has started, the remaining balance is non-refundable unless you have a valid reason. In such cases, a 20% deduction will be applied to cover company costs, and the remainder will be refunded.
Alternative Arrangements – If you feel the intensive format is not suitable for you, you and your instructor may agree to adjust your lesson plan to a different format at your joint discretion.
2. Lesson Breaks
For safety reasons, breaks may be taken during intensive lessons. These can be discussed and agreed upon directly with your instructor.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any lesson after it has been confirmed.
Failure to provide the required notice will result in a full charge for the lesson.
Lessons booked less than 48 hours in advance are also chargeable if cancelled after confirmation, subject to the instructor’s discretion.
4. Discounted Packages
Occasionally, at the instructor’s discretion, discounted rates may be offered to those in financial hardship.
These packages are non-refundable and must be completed in full.
If a refund is granted for exceptional reasons, lessons already taken will be charged at the full standard rate and/or subject to a 20% administrative fee.
5. Instructor Rights & Pricing
Instructors are self-employed and may set their own prices within agreed limits, including offering discounts.
Pricing can be discussed directly between the pupil and instructor.
6. Vehicle Damage
Any damage caused by the pupil that prevents a lesson from continuing will result in the full lesson fee being charged.
7. Guaranteed Pass Package
This package is only valid if you follow all instructions and complete all preparation work provided by your instructor.
8. Lesson Structure
Each driving lesson includes:
Recap of previous learning at the start
Driving practice
Feedback at the end
9. Lesson Package Expiry
Standard lesson packages must be used within 6 months of the first lesson.
Lessons remaining after this period will expire.
Exceptions will be considered for long-term illness or injury.
10. Photography Consent
Drive Masters reserves the right to use photographs taken during lessons, tests, or promotional events for marketing purposes.
By agreeing to have your photograph taken, you consent to its use by Drive Masters.
11. Driving Test Lesson
The driving test session is 3 hours and includes:
Pick-up from an agreed location
Warm-up driving lesson
Optional mock test
Vehicle cleaning/disinfection before the official test
The actual test with the examiner
Drop-off at an agreed location
